I have been talking a lot about innovation, and that it happens in environments where a lot of different people and ideas meet. Go out to the park, people watch, do something out of the ordinary like go-carting, watch a ballet, go to the museum. That is what I do when I need an idea. Or simply talk to a lot of people about it. But doing things parallel rather than sequential can make you see connections you couldn’t before. I not talking about crazy multitasking. I’m simply talking about the things brought up by Heidi Hackemer, BBH New York, in this slide share. The type of agency that embraces this kind of thinking, is this type of agency I want to work at.
